Concerning the Coronavirus Outbreak
Attention All Guests,
As we continue to see building concern over the spreading of COVID-19, we want to let you know how we at Jamul Casino are doing our part to help keep things clean around the casino. We are monitoring the situation every day and working continuously to develop new ways to add protections for you against the virus while you are visiting our property.
- We have increased the frequency of cleaning of elevator buttons, hand rails, door handles, slot machines, table games areas and other guest touch points.
- Hand sanitizing wipes are available to all guests upon request and are proactively delivered to all guests at our dining venues before their meals.
- A total of 25 disinfectant wipe dispensers and hand wash stations are on order and will be added to our existing hand sanitizer stations dispersed throughout the casino floor.
- We have ample supply of cleaning and disinfecting solution on hand in all front of house and back of house areas with access for all team members to use as necessary.
- Face masks are available for purchase by any guest at Jamul Trading Company.
- We have reduced hours and increased spacing between tables and chairs in our dining venues in response to guidelines for increasing social distance.
- We have asked our entire leadership team at Jamul Casino to devote extra time to assisting our Housekeeping team in cleaning the casino floor.
- All Jamul Casino team members traveling back to San Diego from high-risk travel areas are being asked to stay home from work for two weeks following their travel.
- Any team member arriving to the casino showing signs of illness will be sent home to recuperate.
In response to concerns over dining in public places, we have modified our weekly buffets in Tony Gwynn’s Sports Pub and Prime Cut Steak & Seafood to server-delivered bottomless dining experiences. Additionally, we have reduced hours and increased spacing between tables and chairs in our dining venues in response to guidelines for increasing social distance. Our Poker Room will also be closing, effective at 11:59PM Tuesday, March 17. We remain committed to providing a clean and safe environment for our guests and team members, and we will continue to evaluate changes to our operations accordingly.
Your safety and well-being are top priorities at Jamul Casino, and we will continue to do everything we can to mitigate the impact of this virus on your visits to the casino. We want you to stay happy and healthy, and we thank you for your support and loyalty as valued guests!
