A New Message from President & General Manager Mary Cheeks
Valued Friends of Jamul Casino,
As San Diego County has entered a period of reduced restrictions on out-of-home activity, we wanted to reaffirm to you our commitment to your health and safety. When we reopened our casino following a two-month closure in 2020 due to the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we did so having spent countless hours developing numerous health and safety protocols that meet or exceed all guidance from state and local health officials. With your help and that of our amazing team, we have diligently adhered to these protocols and have now built an extended track record of safe and responsible operations. As has been documented by media coverage, instances of coronavirus cases linked to local casinos have been extremely rare in relation to other public places, and we believe this is a direct result of the focus our casino (and others in the area) have placed on developing and implementing rigorous safety protocols. The data we have gives us confidence that our protocols are working, and we are extremely proud of the environment we have created for you to enjoy time with family and friends in a way that keeps you safe.
As we move forward, we will continue to stick with what works. The very same health and safety protocols that have kept you safe at Jamul Casino will be ones you see here moving forward, with continued focus on enhanced sanitizing, face mask enforcement, and monitoring of social distancing. Your safety is our commitment. You can visit assured that Jamul Casino is an environment where you can enjoy an escape, find some happiness, and hopefully make your days a little brighter. It has and will be our pleasure to continue to serve you.
